The caps

An everyday reminder

A cap does not carry you.

It points to the One who does.

Abba & Co. makes caps because a cap is an everyday object. It goes where life happens: work, school drop-offs, the grocery store, the ball field. Early mornings and long nights. Good days and hard ones.

Something you reach for without much thought can become a reason to pause and remember.

What the cap carries

Four details, each with a purpose.

The Me and My House cap, front and side
Me and my house. Joshua 24:15 · BSB

“As for me and my house, we will serve the LORD!”

  1. 01

The verse reference at your side

    A place to begin.

Only the reference is stitched outside. Open the passage. Read the words around it. There is more to discover than a few numbers can tell.

  2. 02

    Orange beneath the brim

    A cue to look up.

A flash of color beneath the brim, there to catch your attention in the middle of an ordinary day.

  3. 03

    In good company.

    You do not walk alone.

Stitched at your side and repeated inside, these words are a quiet reminder of belonging, and of others who walk by faith beside you.

  4. 04

    The full verse, woven inside

    The words, kept close.

Take the cap off and read. An invitation to return to Scripture and remember God’s faithfulness.

An invitation, not an achievement.

The gift of God. Ephesians 2:8 to 9 · BSB

“For it is by grace you have been saved through faith, and this not from yourselves; it is the gift of God, not by works, so that no one can boast.”

Jesus invites you to come to Him. You do not have to make yourself good enough first.

“But to all who did receive Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God…”
JOHN 1:12 · BSB

For a father or mother carrying the weight of provision, responsibility, or an uncertain future, it can be hard to separate who you are from what everyone needs you to do.

You may want to provide well, make wise decisions, and leave something meaningful behind. Those things matter. But they cannot give you a place in God’s family.

Before you are a parent, provider, leader, or builder, you are invited to belong to the Father through Jesus Christ: not as a reward for holding everything together, but by grace.

That does not make every responsibility disappear. It means you can bring your needs to Him, ask for help, and stop pretending you have none.

You were never meant to carry it alone.

A reminder for you.

A conversation with someone else.

Teach them diligently. Deuteronomy 6:7 · BSB

“And you shall teach them diligently to your children and speak of them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.”

A cap cannot save anyone. But a Scripture reference may invite a question, and a few stitched words may give a conversation somewhere to begin.

What matters is where that conversation leads.

“Come and listen, all you who fear God, and I will declare what He has done for me.”
PSALM 66:16 · BSB

In Psalm 66, the writer invites others to hear about God’s faithfulness. He is not describing a life without hardship. Earlier in the psalm, God’s people remember testing, burdens, and passing through fire and water. When the writer turns to his own experience, he tells how he cried out to God and was heard. His story ends in praise for God’s enduring love.

The invitation is not “Look at what I accomplished.”

It is “Listen to what God has done.”

That distinction matters to us. We do not want a cap to make the wearer look as though they have faith figured out. We hope it gives them a reason to remember and, when someone asks, an opportunity to speak honestly.

You might speak about a prayer God answered, a sin you needed to turn from, or help you received when you could not manage alone. You can also be honest about what remains difficult and what you do not yet understand.

You do not need a polished speech or a story in which everything worked out.

The cap does not need to become the subject of the conversation. Neither do your achievements.

It can begin with a simple question and lead to why you trust Christ.

Where to begin

An open Bible on a wooden table among autumn leaves
Ask for wisdom. James 1:5 · BSB

“Now if any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.”

If you are exploring faith, begin with the hope behind the words, not with a purchase.

If you already follow Jesus, consider which passage you want to keep close and why it matters to you.
